Here is how it works:
Buyers: I will give you thousands of dollars back at closing. Upon representation of you and your family, I split the standard 3% real estate commission with you as follows: 2% back to you in any way you like - as upgrades or towards your closing costs and the remaining 1% comes to me. An example of this would be, if you (and your family) were to purchase a $200,000 newly constructed home, the standard real estate commission for the selling agent would be $6,000.00. The Texas Rebate Realtor client earns $4,000.00 of this. Can you imagine how you could spend an extra $4,000.00 in your brand new home??
